Karen Takes On Marlow’s Santa Fun Run And Makes Kingfishers Proud
Karen from Kingfishers laced up her trainers and joined the annual 5K Santa’s Fun Run, organised by the Rotary Club of Marlow. She was one of more than 3,000 people taking part in what has become a much-loved festive event in the town.

Runners and walkers gathered at Higginson Park, turning the start line into the famous “Sea of Red” as Santa suits filled the space. From there, the 5K route wound through the streets of Marlow, with plenty of smiles, cheering and Christmas spirit along the way. The event is open to everyone, from serious runners to families with buggies, which is part of what makes it such a brilliant community day.

Karen’s effort was a proud moment for the whole Kingfishers team. Completing the run is an achievement in itself, but it also reflects the values we care about most, showing up for others, pulling together and getting involved in the local community. It is the kind of positive, can-do attitude that helps set the tone for residents and families, and it strengthens our link with the charities and initiatives that matter in Marlow.

For Kingfishers, this was a reminder of what can happen when people get behind something good, bring plenty of energy and simply take part.

Karen did Kingfishers proud, and we are delighted she represented us on such a memorable day.
